Dean has assisted thousands of clients in tax planning, preparation and defending them from the IRS and state tax departments. Dean is a member of National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), a National Tax Practice Institute Fellow (NTPI) since 1993, and the National Association of Tax Practitioners (NATP). Dean obtained the designation of Enrolled Agent [Enrolled to Practice (Represent Taxpayers) Before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under US Treasury Card 2025-13520] in 1974.  After majoring in Economics at Texas Tech University, graduating in January 1967 and prior to opening his private sector tax practice in 1981, Mr. Saul was employed as Tax Manager for Ennis Business Forms in Ennis, TX for more than seven years. He was Controller of Gutierrez, Smouse and Wilmont in Dallas, TX for a year.  He was City Manager for H&R Block in Rochester, NY for three years and Assistant City Manager for H&R Block in Knoxville, TN for 1 year; and, as a sales representative of General Foods, Post Division in Charlotte, NC for 2 years.
